Football Association (FA) is to investigate social media posts by striker Mario Balotelli for Liverpool that seems to contain references to anti-Semitic and racist.

Balotelli, 24, removed the post from his from Instagram page Nintendo Super Mario characters in computer games.

Italy then tweeted the post text from denied the offensive.

The FA confirmed it was looking into the post, while Liverpool have said they will talk with Balotelli.



A spokesman for the club said: "we are aware of a post that has since been deleted immediately by the player.

"We will talk to the players about the issue."

Responding to criticism on Twitter, Balotelli tweeted: "my mother was Jewish so that all of you silent please."

He also described the reposting images as "my lucky moments".

However, the former FA Executive and current chief executive of the Jewish Leadership Council Simon Johnson says Balotelli had to face action.

"We abhor all forms of racism, wherever it is found," Johnson said the Daily Telegraph.

"We call on the FA to investigate this not true social media posts and take action if appropriate if we are to succeed in kicking racism out of football."

Social media guidelines under the FA, the minimum ban for race-related rules is five games.

In September, police investigating Merseyside racist comments made to Balotelli on Twitter after he posted a message during the defeat of Manchester United 5-3 against Leicester City.

MotoAmerica secures the 2015 Deal With CBS Sports TV

MotoAmerica, the new home of the AMA Superbike series, today announced that it has obtained agreement for broader coverage of the multimedia of the series starting in 2015. This of course is great news for the sport, such as series fail to secure the TV Pack by 2014 under the management of DMG.

According to the press release MotoAmerica, all MotoAmerica events will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, as part of a multi-year agreement between Torque.TV and CBS Sports Network announced earlier this year. Programming will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network on weekend afternoons and in primetime. 2015 Schedule television will be released at a later date.

Extensive digital coverage of MotoAmerica Series, including event highlights, features and other content will also appear on www.Torque.TV.

"Have a television and online coverage of our MotoAmerica series is the key," said three-time 500cc world champion Wayne Rainey and MotoAmerica President. "It's important for our fans, our team, our drivers, and the entire industry. The Volkswagen Group, the second biggest car maker in the world, are conducting a feasibility study into a potential Formula one entry.

Sources say the review is being done by former Ferrari chief Stefano continued studying, hired by VW'S Audi brand earlier this year.
Interest was piqued by a global marketing success achieved by rivals and the new Mercedes F1 champion.

But each entry would depend on the management changes at VW or F1.
